Brandon is a first-year doctoral student in the Graduate Program in Communication and a Part-Time Instructor in the Department of Communication. His research interests are justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in organizational and instructional communication, anti-racist messaging and campaign design, and inclusive leadership in higher education. Brandon hopes to conduct research into how communicative practices in formal and non-formal instructional settings constitute equitable and inclusive environments within organizational contexts. Brandon is also a full-time staff member at UK. He currently serves as the Coordinator for Social Justice Education and Engagement in the Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice in the Office of the Vice President for Student Success. In this role, Brandon is responsible for developing and implementing social justice-centered programming, workshops, and other capacity-building opportunities for UK staff and students. Brandon earned his Master of Science in Organizational Communication from Murray State University and he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Kentucky.
