We offer undergraduate and graduate coursework in organizational communication to prepare students for teaching, research, and practice in communication management, consulting, human resources, operations management, conflict resolution, risk management, and crisis communication. Research and teaching assistantships are available.

Our faculty examine a wide array of research topics related to organizational communication including collective action, healthcare design, workplace wellness, sexual harassment, environmental sustainability, social networks, dark organizations, work crews, cohabitation groups, high risk organizations, corporate activists, and sports teams.
