Bio
Elizabeth Spencer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrated Strategic Communication. Dr. Spencer’s research has examined corporate social responsibility, crisis communication, multimedia, and strategic messaging of health issues and within health contexts. Much of her research investigates media messages and communication issues relating to person living with dementia and their caregivers. Additionally, her creative scholarship focuses on visual communication and includes the production of a narrative documentary film screened at the American Public Health Association annual conference. Her professional experience includes leadership roles and public relations in healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations.
