Graduate Program in Communication

Graduate students affiliated with the HCRC are actively involved in teaching, research, and service at the University of Kentucky. Below are some opportunities available to graduate students through the HCRC.

 

Health Communication Certification

The Graduate Program in Communication offers a Certificate in Health Communication, available to (a) students in the Ph.D. and M.A. programs in Communication, (b) students in other doctoral programs at the university and (c) post baccalaureate students. The certificate program is aimed primarily at individuals interested in developing specialized knowledge and research expertise in health communication that can be applied within both academic and non-academic settings. Teaching

HCRC faculty offer a wide variety of courses related to health communication that are available to both students enrolled in the Graduate Program in Communication and students from around the unversity. In recent years, the following classes have been taught at UK:
