Erin Hester

Bio

Erin Hester is an assistant professor in integrated strategic communication. She joined UK after working for the Kentucky Department for Public Health on several statewide health and risk prevention campaigns. Erin's research focuses on persuasive communication, specifically using message-based strategies to promote social good. She is interested in the influence of message features and audience characteristics on attitude and behavior change, message-induced affect, and social marketing campaigns to address wicked problems.
