The Department of Communication at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a full-time lecturer. The nine-month contract begins August 15, 2018 and ends May 15, 2019; contracts are renewable for one or more additional terms. Master’s degree in Communication required.
Duties include a 4/4 teaching load at the lower-division level, such as interpersonal communication, persuasive speaking, and/or organizational communication. The position carries a non-negotiable starting salary of $45,000, some professional development support, and access to University of Kentucky benefits (e.g., retirement, health care, life insurance). Overload and summer teaching may be available.
The Department of Communication is in the College of Communication and Information with master’s and doctoral programs in communication, information science, and information communication technology. The College offers undergraduate programs in communication, journalism, media arts and studies, integrated strategic communication, and information communication technology.
