The Communication Student Association had a productive semester this fall.
The group elected new officers for the year. The officers, pictured left to right, are: Joshua Morris (president), Lara Duran (vice president), Sabrina Akramova (treasurer) and Emily Scott (secretary).
The organization also sponsored week-long activities during Free Speech Week (October 16-22) including speakers, writing letters to Congress and expressing what free speech means to students.
The CSA is an organization for students majoring or minoring in communication or those who are interested in the field. Students in the organization are given the opportunity to learn more about jobs, research being done, and courses related to the field. The group meets once a month, and is under the direction of Professor Don Lowe. For more information on how to join the CSA, click here.
